I believe you can tether all 8xxx series blackberries. Go over to www.blackberryforums.com and search for the tethering thread. There are really good directions there.
Beware tethering can incur additional charges so be sure its included in your plan. I have a sprint datacard for my laptop and OQO, but on very rare occasions I will use my BB as a modem.
