Attempting to unlock a Blackberry Pearl

Hi. I recently received a unlock code from T-Mobile for my Blackberry Pearl. I followed the instructions and it said the code was accepted, but when I tried to put in a friends AT&T sim card it said invalid sim. Any ideas? Thank you.

Have you verified that the network subsidy lock was removed? I'm not sure on a SureType device but the steps on a full qwerty one are:
- Go to Options->Advanced Options->SIM Card
- Type MEPD (on SureType I'm guessing you have to hit O/P twice since it will be in multitap mode)
- See if it says Disabled next to Network
If it does, then verify that the other carrier's SIM that you're inserting is good.
