Safari, issue with log in’s

I’ve been experiencing some issues with Safari manly with the fact that it’s not remembering my log in from the web pages that I visit most often such as this forum.
When the phone goes to sleep mode or is off, I loose my log in and have to enter it again, it’s even worst when I go to Facebook, after a few minutes of surfing through the site it prompts me back to the log in page where I have to re-enter all my info.
I made sure to verify that Safari could accept Cookies from ‘Visited’ sites and that option was selected.

I’ve also tried the ‘Reset All Settings’ and even installed the ‘1.1.3/4 Safari Patch’ but neither of these steps seem to fix the problem.

I have a 16gb Unlocked with ZiPhone 2.4 running on 1.1.3 f.w.

I was also wondering if I should update to 1.1.4 fw given my phone freezes quite often specifically when I don’t turn it off at night (if that makes any sense). From what I’m gathering it appears to be a more of a stable f.w with plenty of ‘bug fix’

I would appreciate some feedbacks on either issue.

Thanks

I had the same problem after updating to 1.1.4 and some very helpful folks on here managed to help me out with it.
Here is the thread, hope it helps...

Thanks plenty man, I'll be sure to try it when i get home this afternoon.
By the way have you noticed any difference from 1.1.4 vs. the 1.1.3 f.w?

Based my experience with 1.1.4, I find it has a better signal strength, is more stable and overall is quicker (in regards to loading apps, sms, finding WiFi signals, etc) then 1.1.3.

Also, you may find that simply restoring (dont update it) your firmware to 1.1.4 may fix your safari login problem (I remember some people mentioning that restoring to the latest firmware cleared up the problem). I didn’t have the problem with 1.1.3, but after updating to 1.1.4 it popped up. It may be the opposite for you.

Good luck
