1. Jailbreaking a. leaves the phone locked to AT&T (fine, I am an AT&T customer already) b. makes me use the $15 Media unlimited c. can use iTunes for updates without bricking d. no visual voicemail e. no 3rd party apps 2. Unlocking a. Can use AT&T or T-Mobile or any GSM phone company b. makes me use the $15 Media unlimited for AT&T c. cannot use iTunes for updates as may cause bricking d. no visual voicemail e. many 3rd party apps 3. Activate with iTunes a. automatic 2 year activation agreement b. makes me use the $20 iPhone data plan c. can use iTunes for updates without bricking d. visual voicemail works e. no 3rd party apps Now, I just read about the pwnage development to add 3rd party apps to the locked phone, sounds great but not sure when it will be released. Are there any other pro's or con's that I haven't listed that would make a difference in choosing? |
