How am I getting wifi on my iphone when I'm at home if I don't have a wireless network set up?

You probably have a neighbor with a wide open wireless network with the same name as something you've connected to before. For example, Linksys routers are come setup with the name "linksys" and if you've connected to one before, any time the iPhone sees another one with the same name it'll connect thinking its the original one.

I thought that was it because there is a coffee shop near my house that I connected to before. How is my wife's verizon account email for our dsl loading on my iphone? or is that when I sync with itunes it's loading into my phone.

She set it up on your phone to check her mail and it will stay on there and keep checking it until you take it off.

No, she doesn't even know how to use my phone. Or maybe she does

this thread seriously makes me LOL...maybe I'm just tired

You have iTunes set to sync the mail account.

Thank's That didn't come to me until halfway through this thread

Yea iTunes will synch up any outlook or outlook express accounts to the iphone. In iTunes highlight the connected iPhone and there should be tabs (I currently forget the name) but there is a tab that talks about synching calendars, contacts and e-mail accounts. Just uncheck your wife's account.

You have a haunted iPhone!

Look for Ashton Kucher to show up. You've been Punked!! The wife's in on it and they're attempting to make you think you're nuts. Mission accomplished.

I might have to take her on the "moment of truth" to find out

You might find out a LOT more than what you are expecting...

someone hacked your phone to tell you to check your wife's email because she's a secret russian spy sending US secret attachments to putin's generals on nuclear plans. ....
...or like they said, outlook synced.

No it does not. It only looks at the MAC address, not the name. My work WiFi and my home WiFi have the same name. But they have diferent security types, and keys. It connects fine, because it knows that they are two diferent networks.
