I made the mistake of buying a VRW LGVX8500 cable off eBay without first looking around to see if it would be compatible with my TELUS LG8500. Anyone by any chance happen to know if it'll be okay?

By VRW you mean VZW (Verizon Wireless)? The cables should be compatible.
