* This worked for 2 of my friend's who had Rogers Nokia 5300 phones. It didn't destroy the phone, texting, calling, etc. was left intact. Including the games they already had on the phone. They still worked. So, don't worry about doing the Full Factory Reset, as this doesn't delete anything you have downloaded, like Ringtones, Games, etc. Just a word of caution, leave your SIM card in, but remove the MicroSD card first before you begin, just to be safe. Also, as always before attempting any modification, BACK UP YOUR PHONE!!!!

1) install the nokia suite software that comes with phone.
2)connect phone. Good clean connection and complete driver install
3)install the nss software. (nemesis service suite, latest version. You can download it from their website)
4) RESTART
5)connect phone to usb and select nokia mode
6)open nss software click on magnifying glass in top right. (I too had ->Products Dir('products').......Not Found.) Dont worry
7)click phone info and scan your phone just to make sure its connected
8) choose local power mode and click change. your screen should go dark
9)to the right click read to bring up your product data.
10) change that 0515134 to a 0515263 in the product code check enable box then click on write.
11) YOU'RE NOT DONE YET.
12)you must reset the phone in NSS software. Click on tools tab then factory settings tab.
13)check the full factory circle and click reset.
14) BINGO
15) bring your phone back to normal power mode.
16)power down then back up.

What about Nokia 5310 Xpress Music? Would it work also?

My phone came with a music player built in....I dont get what it unlocks please advise.
