I recently used a verizon monster from here on my l7c sliver. My phone wouldn't boot. (I think I had a virus)

Now when I try to reactivate my phone (*228) it takes me to alltel.

I never meant to load an alltell file onto my phone... i've reflashed the phone a few times with the same file. I even tried the krazr file with no luck.

I just want my phone working again. How can I get my phone to dial verizon when I dial *228?

another detail.

I've followed a few faqs on how to reset to verizon but i am unable to do a master clear or reset because there is no initial settings menu

I was able to fix it by doing a typing in the 74663# clear clear and setting my phone number, etc.

This wouldn't let me call but it would let me dial *228 for verizon.

Yes. Doing the above...did the 74663 thing and then dialed *228 and it worked like normal from there. It only took me like 6 hours of flashing things but eventually it worked. (It woulda worked the first time if I'ld tried the 74663# thing)
