Favorite messaging and community J2ME program?

I just got tmobile's unlimited data plan for $4.99 month. Although speeds are super slow I feel like a whole new world has been opened to me. I noticed a lot of programs that can link all my chats together.

I use msn, aim, yahoo and skype. A lot of these programs come with extras like free global voice calling, buzzing when offline, a community, integration into other communites, etc.

I was wondering what everybody's favorite is and why? I don't want to get involved in one and tell all my friends, then find out there is something better.

Right now I think Nimbuzz is cool cause it integrates into my Facebook page. People can buzz me when I'm not logged on. Supposivly I can make free voice calls through skype but I'd be surprised because I get low transfer speeds with my plan.

Some reasons why I think something better may be out there is because I haven't found a way to set myself as invisible and the html version that I use on my pc seems weak. Was hoping it would be more like meebo or mig33.

Any thoughts?

I would use yahoo, it seems to have more people using it than the others.
Its been five days since you posted this, what you have you found out
about skype ? Do you have a fast enough connection speed to use skype ?

I've tried using the Nimbuzz facebook application to call my phone but it doesnt work. The caller goes straight to voicemail. I get the notification for voicemail but when I try to dial it, it doesn't work. I guess I just don't have a fast enough connection. I doubt skype would work if that doesn't. It's wierd though that people can click buzzme on my facebook page and my phone will vibrate.

Hmmm.. I like it too whenever the net connects me to my phone.
I am guessing you are right... not enough bandwidth to support skype.

There has to be a way though.. like jajah.com

Maybe they will work. Its free for a few minutes

Good luck
