Sorry to bother everyone, but my friend is stuck on a Motorola Q (the original) and taking a look at the Q9m it seems like it may be the same hardware, just minus an IR port and running WM6. Has anyone attempted a crossflash on it? if so, does it work?

I'm sure it would work. Try it! I crossflashed a V3c and a V3m once. It worked just fine!
