A while back when leaked pictures of the Sony Ericsson K850i cell phone was leaked on the internet I said to myself that’s going to be the cell phone that replaces my K790 & K800i cell phone. It’s finally out and I have the money to get it with Rogers since my best friend is getting an iphone as a backup phone and going to get the K850i and give it to me for three hundred and fifty dollars. With the money I’m going to give him he going to a buy a blackberry.

I’m all up for idea but right now I’m with Fido on a pay as you go. Rogers has unlimited web browsing on certain phones and the K850i is one of them without using airtime unlike Fido which does use your minutes to web browse and download theme, pictures etc etc.

Is it possible for Rogers to switch my pay as you go account from Fido to Rogers? The thing I wish they both had done is get both colours blue and green. I want the green version of the K850i since everybody has the blue one. I know both of the phones are the same thing except one has Rogers branded on the back which is like an eyesore. If they made the Rogers logo small like on blackberries it wouldn’t be much of an issue.

I’m seeing all these contest and great stuff to download on Rogers while Fido has nothing. The only reason why I’m with Fido is the pay as you go plans on Fido beats Rogers. If I go with Rogers and take the phone my friend going to give me is it possible I can get a new housing and replace the back cover were the Rogers logo is and still keep the warranty and stick with the blue K850i or should I just don’t bother get an unlocked and debranded green version of the K850i since not a lot of people have that version of the phone?
