I bought a new Dash off e-bay and upgraded it to WM6 using the t-mobile upgrade. I tried using the upgrade off the rogers website but it did work (the upgrade wouldn't allow it). If there any way that I can reflash the unit to use the rogers software?

thanks for the link. I have another question. Should I really be looking for a generic HTC flash? I've read that different carriers changes options, etc. and was thinking that maybe i should be looking to flash my Dash the generic HTC software. Does anyone have any advice/experience with this?

I'm taking the plunge right now. Looks complicated but really is simple with three files you get your phone ready and then the rest is history. The big stress is watching your phone being stuck on the Windows mobile splash screen for 5 minutes (man this is long, I was chewing my nails praying I didn't brick my phone). Everything is fine after this. and takes it's normal course just like the T-Mo update. Long story short, I went from T-Mo WM5 to T-Mo WM6 and then to HTC WM6. Nothing was wrong with the T-Mo WM6, I just can't help myself, I gotta try it.

Will keep you posted on advantages, disadvantages during the next few days.

I'd say it's not worth it... I installed HTC_S620_WWE_1.27.405.1_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship.ex e

1 - the htc rom as ugly green calling background and commmanager. it can be fixed, but it's one more thing to think about. you need htcunlockinstaller and SPA application unlcok to be able to install the old comm manager and overwrite the background images.
2 - the htc rom doesn't have mobile office, it only as clearvue.
3 - The keyboard is mapped to UK, doesn't fit with the dash layout for symbols. one more thing to change.
4 - Where is the big speed improvment other are talking about??

The T-mo rom had ugly splash screens, witch can also be fixed easiliy that I give to htc. however, the other 2 screw it up for me, I might go back to T-mo wm6 unless someone tells me where to get the Rogers Rom or someone tells me that the Brightpoint htc rom is htc official then I might try it...does it have office mobile??

go to xda-developers.com and go to smartphones > excalibur ....there you will find a bunch of roms. i just flashed my dash to the 6.1 ROM (thanks kavana and ricky) and love it. its fast, has none of the green and overall is pretty awesome. make sure you understand how to flash the phone before you try or you can brick the phone.
