im probably still one of the last few that hasnt gone the way of 1.1.3/1.1.4 jailbroken because to me it still isnt running as flawless as the 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 jailbreaks. I was just curious do you guys/gals think 1.1.3/1.1.4 jailbreaks wil ever be as stable as 1.1.3/1.1.4 and previous versiosn with out the patch downloads and moving files and this and that and fix downloads etc etc etc? I know jailbreaking via ziphone or indepence is easy but getting all the apps to work well with each other is my problem and ease

i am still running 1.1.1 i upgraded to 1.1.4 at one point but it kept crashing during while listening to music or adjusting setting or writing a note etc.. i don't really see any point of upgrading until the app store comes out in june... you can get all the features of the 1.1.3/1.1.4 on the 1.1.1 so i am sticking with this till june

1.1.1 worked best for me I had NO problems....But now im on 1.1.3 it crashes about 2-3 times a week.

1.1.2 was the most stable for me, but so far not one problem with the 1.1.4. So either way they both work good for me. Plus all the apps I had on 1.1.2 I have on the 1.1.4.

I'm staying on 1.1.2...it works PERFECTLY for me, never had a problem with anything....my feeling is: if it ain't broke....
I'm very curious and tempted to upgrade, just because, but I think I'll wait until I upgrade the whole phone (I'm on an 8 GB now) to get a new firmware....a 32GB (with or without 3G) sounds good

Why was this poll closed?
Anyway, stability really isn't an issue unless you are changing how things work on your phone constantly. I've been using 1.1.4 since the update (jailbroke using ZiPhone) and haven't had any more issues than with 1.1.2 w.r.t. stability.
Anyway, anytime you are using a new OS (firmware, desktop, etc.) there will always be challenges on the program/developer end (firmware [1.]2.0 will be the biggest change to work with, apparently). However, as program development progresses compatibility issues start changing (to phase out older products -- read: older firmwares).
At some point you need to keep up with the firmwares because developers won't be as likely to support older software in later updates (just like in the computer world). I think this will be very true when the next big update occurs in June.
Just my opinion, take it as you will.

been using 1.1.1 and love it, everything works without any patches. From everything i've been reading what you get with 1.1.4 is wiggling icons and locate me feature that tells you where you are,(it's off by about a mile) WOW!!
