Ok, I have purchased the Sony Ericsson K800i, I want to know if I can mod the menus and stuff, like flash menus, like the SE W580i, because I also have that phone and I totally modded it. So Is there anything I can do for the K800i? or the K790a or K790i???

You can't put flash menus on it but you can do animated menus to make it look like it's flash.

animated is just as good =DDD but its pain in the *** if u want to switch it... well i'm lazy so its a pain i nthe *** lolzz it'll take me like 10mins but tats too long lolz

Yeah but it's worth it! Way better than the default menus.

its cuase u arldy "totally modded" ur w580i so pretty sure u can find some mods urself... i have a thread for w610i mods no one even posted there... if u can't find specific things then sure if we got the links we can help but ur asking in general do u guys have links for mods so u can do them...

Ok I really want to change my camera drivers, I found one, but its from a russian site. Can you give me a good reliable link to a good one. Also I have one question, If I back up my camera drivers, and the camera driver I put inside doesn't work, I could just put the originals in it.

yes...just put original bak and it will become the reg cam driver... check se-nse for k800 camera drivers there are a lot of them there..

esato.com is another place to try for camera drivers.

I always get confused with all the firmware forums over at se-nse.net drivers are scattered in all of them (but I HATE esato's board software)

there is no number0 driver.. number1 is a username - he made a camera driver. Its great.

matts do you know if its possible to you change the K790a media player, i heard you could with VKP and the skin pictures is there a guide for it ?

its just changes the look of media player. The actual functions dont change. Iv never done it as I thought it was pointless.

Iv never seen a guide but the patches are all over at se-nse.net topsony.com and esato.com

One is for main camera and the other for the secondary one.

I dont think ill change the skin either looks like too much work, I am currious though, have you applied the unlock patch for your K790a if so what was your experence like?. I am planning to get it unlocked like that but kinda rusty.

it works until the phone gets a master reset.
Iv done it b4 but this one i purchased unlocked NIB.

is this the answer to the patch unlock?!? i patched unlocked a w580i did a master rest and it still works fine i think wat u meant is until phone is flashed again...

changing the skin on the media player is really easy all u need is the...forget wat its called... but the outline of the thing and u can put any image u want on it and put it in the phone via far+sefp or w/e u prefer

hmmm,,, maybe thats it. I always thought it also reset it with a master reset, but I could be wrong. Maybe it is just after a MAIN flash.

Any way you shouldn't sell its as "unlocked" unless you have "unlocked it" other wise specify "patch unlocked" just to cover your but.

i sold it as patch unlocked and clearly stated once flashed it will become locked to rogers dunt need ppl on my *** for stupid things like this... and yes flashing the main should be enough to lock it bak up...
