Sanyo 2300 & 2400

My current phone is a Sanyo 2400, however I also have the Sanyo 2300 which is no longer activated.
I like the 2300 alot better - is there anyway, without going through Solo to make the 2300 my phone with my phone number?
Is there anyway to fond out what the MSL code? or is that something only Solo knows?
