what the heck is an ERP?

I live in a city that just opened the biggest call center in the US - so we always have the call center people come in here wanting things... well, we're an agent so we don't offer the discounts... then they say things that are sooo stupid. I realize they don't actually work WITH the phones, but some of the things I've heard from them I've been like "wtf?"
It's funny when they come in here and ask us questions on their phone.
I'm not trying to offend anyone, but it's great when they come in here acting like they know just how to work all the phones and then they say stuff that makes you want to be like "what are you even talking about?" I'm sure I say things that makes them react similarly, but anyway... she said "Do you guys do the ERP here?" I said no, but only because I didn't want to act like I didn't know what it was... because I don't. "ERP"??? Employee... Rep... Profit??? I really can't even guess. Any help would be appriciated.

She could have meant Electronic Retail Payment, too.

ERP = Employee Rate Plan
Available to AT&T employees only

I'm gna go with Employee Rate Plan - I searched on the internet too but couldn't find anything that would make any sense and eppwood makes the most since here. Thanks to all.

there are ERPs and ANRs, the ERPs are for ATT direct employees....a nice discounted rate, then there are the ANRs basically for indirect agents of ATT that sell the service for them.

ERP is a free line of voice service with discounted features. Maximum of two such lines per employee. CSP has more details.

Also to answer the question? Do you do ERP?
The answer is no! You can only set an ERP account up through AT&T, not a dealer!
They can buy a phonr from you if they want for whatever you sell a phone outright for (no contract)

and I've heard conflicting things but an iPhone cannot be used on an ERP line, right?

You would be correct. It is allowed to be used on consumer plans by At&t employees though..
