trackball problem

i just noticed this like this week...my trackball works but need needs alot of pressure to make it click...sometimes it does not even work i gotta push it a couple times...is this something i need to replace

And actually, I just looked through it, and it seems that the plates over your main keys (jump, cancel, menu, done) just pop off. So if I were you, I would pop that b**** off with a tiny screwdriver and clean the trackball. Seems you're not the only one with this problem.
**Use a bleach-free cleaner and be sure not to leave any fibers behind.

thanks but i cant do all that.. it seem to get worst i broke my end button an now the track ball doesn't let me roll up...how much would thi cost to fix
