hi, i just got my Nokia N95-2 8GB... but for me i think it's too complicated but overall it's a very good phone...

But i was always in love in SE's phone, just wondering.. should i get a K850? and sell my N95?

thanks!

Honestly you need to decide for yourself, because everyone has different ideas of what's useful in a phone.

What do YOU(not someone else) need in a phone? That can help decide between the 2.

Thats a step down!
I think you'll be sorry if you do.

battery life was definitely a selling factor for me since all SE's that I had would last at least 3+ days before charging. I had a 6500 slide, but I just bought a k850i and am pretty stoked about it...but the N95 is badass too...just think of what you really want from a cellphone...

each and everyone of them have their ups and downs.. your choie really.
think about disadvantages from each one and work the way up.. you'll find your answer

i have a k850, but I've never owned an Nokia since 3390.. I've played with an N95 8gb and was pretty impressed with it.. dont forget, you are losing you wifi and hugeass screen if you go k850 = =;;

thats your point of view....

I think some people prefer smartphones and consider anything else a step down. I like both, so I never say that. But I do think the N95 is a better mix of smartphone and multi-media phone than the K850i.

This may sound like a stupid question, but does the k850 have a 3.5 mm headset port? I feel this is a feature that should be included on all decent phones, but so many do not even have it.
Thanks!

nope, and since it is not a W branded phone, theres no 3.5mm adapter either

also if you are thinking about using this as a multimedia machine, I would think twice about it.

i wouldn't sell the n95-2 for a k850. well thats my opinion anyway. the choice lies within you. lol

Posted by: Phone Diva

Wouldn't a 3.5 adapter work on the K850i since the connector is often the same?

Posted by: faibs

yes but just stating it didn't come with one

Posted by: Phone Diva

Yeah, with the k850i, I know.
Gotta buy $50-$70 headphones to get one, unless they sell them by themselves. I'm searching now to see if I can find an OEM one.

just get a cheapo off ebay and plug in your own earphones...perfect solution

Aftermarket parts on eBay, no thanks!

Only if I knew I could trust the manufacturer. Not interested in frying the phone.

I suggest you to keep N95-2
don't get me wrong, SE makes the best non-smartphone on the market, but N95-2 has plenty of on-board storage, and miniUSB cable is SUPER EASY to find, and the HUGE screen (as big as my E61)

after BST-38 from ebay, no thanks (only 25 mins of streaming audio playback, the battery runs out from 100%)
I finally bought an authentic BST-38 from mobilecityonline ($40)
