All the help everyone has given me, this is my way of giving back. Anyone needs any of the progs...either Message me, or run a search, most of them can be downloaded from HoFo's links.

I'm stiff confused about the I90 startup images. Could some post the images he's talking about. And can we do custom images?

No Custom images, Roxy or Motorola only

And here's Motorola

This replaces the Startup logos...when you start your i90, rather then it saying "Welcome to Nextel" or the "T9 Text Input" logo...you can change that to one of these two images...Right now these are the only available....hopefully someone will come up with a Hexidecimal encoder soon.

Y'know what slut? So do I....and your obviously not that good. You can't figure this out. When you start being able to hexidecimal modify and solder LED's, and build phones from distroyed boards...then call me. For now, your a worthless hack.

Just cause you sweep the floors doesn't mean you "work in a service center"

and dialing doesn't mean you can use the phone.

its one thing to be ignorant when someone helps u, its another to ignore when someone helps u. Read the instructions, if u have a probelm post yur problem as clear as possible, dont say "it doesnt work" or "how do i do this". If ur patient, and do yur homework, ull get what u want. I was patient, i waited, and now i have 02 on my phone, worked for me, i know itll work for the rest of ya.
BTW, Props to ya c0d13n3, yuve become a valued asset to this forum, keep up the good work and dont become sour like me!!!

I just want to say thanks to people like c0d13n3 for helping many people learn and go through the proccess of adding things for themselves. It took me some time to learn to do stuff (not saying that I can do everything cause I'm still new myself), but if you read and through trial and error, you learn. Thanks!

Lifes alot better without all the hot-gun know it all newbs that "work in a service center" blasting off at the mouth without looking, and learning, BEFORE they went off half cocked.

I'm glad I could be part of this forum, and plan to be around for a LONG time to come. Oh, and btw....though I have under 200 posts...I've been here alot longer...I had a different screen name. My true count is more along 400+...not that count matters...but I had someone blast me saying I was a n00b too....I'm not, and I think I've proven myself for the future.

Ok, it is noobs like this that give us all a bad name. I do not work in a service center and hell I don't know the first thing about programming a comp., however when someone takes the time to give "detailed" instructions on how to do something and you don't take the time to read them is f****** stupid.

I went through them ONE time and was able to change my phone and then change it back. Does someone actually hold this guys d*** when he takes a leak?

Please think b4 you make comments and if your not going to read instructions don't bother

have another, and then smack yourself w/the bottle. It will make our lives here much easier!

Thank you shackk. Hopefully this should show people like Chris not to mouth off. Again...I have no problem with helping. But take abuse and hold your hand, I won't.

Also, I'd like to take this opportunity to appologize to Igreenberg. I know the rules, and tho not in DIRECT violation...I did go alittle overboard with the expletives...even if they were censored. There is no reason you, or any other moderator should have to edit my posts. I appologize.

Hey what's up i have a i95 cl with 85.01.04 and i want to make my keypads flash, change pallettes, etc... so i believe i have to downgrade to s earlier version. If thats what you mean by backdating, then can you please email me the instructions to bboylito@yahoo.com you've been great help and we all appreciate what you've been doing. Also do you think you can email me a hex editor while ur at it, i don't know which ones are good.

First off I would like to thank you for taking the time to show those who don't know the light. I have been here for a few months now and just now started posting. I edited my codeplug to the new vaules but it seems that when I try to reopen them in IDEN Carrier RSS, it tells me that the code plug is corrupt. Could I be using the wrong version of RSS? It says version R01.14.02. Thanks again for the post. Some great stuff.

as long as you can read the codeplug with RSS (either Carrier or SuperAgent) and save it you're fine! to edit the CP to change the startup on the i90 any hex editor will do...many use hackman but there are different ones out there...just follow the directions given...and the values will all be in the same place!

if you've read thru the whole thread and it's not there...you might just want to write back the original CP that you started with...unless you have a Roxy i90 to begin with...then you might be outta luck for the time being!

after I finished editing my codeplug in hexman and save it. Then, when I go to open it in RSS, it tells me 'Unable to Read file'

I'm using Hexman, RSS Superagent, my phone is 02.01, CP ver is 19.00/08.00, CSD C06.05.06. I'm trying to do start up image.

yea...that one is a toughie to edit...just play around with it for a bit....best way is to highlight the modded CP (Roxy) and make a copy of it...then highlight the area where it goes in on your original CP and insert the copied one in after deleting the original.

hope that helps and is clear!

make sure you have a saved original copy just in case!

EDIT: okay, I switched to the older version of RSS (R01.14.02) and it seems like it reads the modded codeplug, but then BAM! it gives me an error shutting down the program. Now, does anyone have another version?

well, judging how my RSS won't even let me open ANY codeplug, i don't think sending a codeplug would help anymore...

the program just gives me error like "RSS has made an error, do you want to send error report or not" that type of stuff....

do you have yahooIM or msn? msn preferred...

i use .02 and .04, i tried .03 but it wasn't my favorite!

i haven't had any problems with .02...you may want to uninstall and reinstall!

bummer...well i don't know what else to tell ya. i know RSS .04 won't work for your CP because it will encrypt the CP making it unhexable. you might want to delete any copies of your CP you made with .04 or EVEN opened with .04 because that would possible be the problem....then reinstall RSS .02 again and read the phone.
