Any type of Battery add on?

Is there any type of battery accessory that can extend the running time of the iPhone. On a normal day of Phone/SMS/Email/Browsing... the battery only last the day and have to recharge every night. Wondering if the was an accessory that you could maybe put on the sync port that would give you some type of extended power.
