Hi im having this problem with Safari.. i dunno if this has been asked yet.. tried looking but didn't find nything so here it goes
I Jailbroke and unlocked 1.1.4 (i have OTB 3.9 bl)
since the upgrade.. Safari seems unable to Hold any information about page preferences, or Login Info... it must be something about the cookies or something like that i don't know... does anyone know how to fix this_??

My Safari is acting the same way and I'd love to find out how to fix this !

I would assume it's a permission or cookie problem too. Hopefully it can be resolved in Terminal.

Any help appreciated !

Copied and pasting from the link. Please make sure that you enter everything as it is. Its case sensitive.
chown mobile /var/mobile/Library/Cookies/
chown mobile /var/mobile/Library/Cookies/Cookies.plist

you need to have Term-vt100 package installed for this.

you need to have Term-vt100 package installed for this. This app allows you to access the files via command line prompt. These statements need to be executed in command prompt for the safari fix to happen.so once u intall this app open it and login with root/alpine and enter the above commands in the command line.

Yes, Yes, "Term vt100 Works"
it took me a while but with the help of "signori" i finally got it to work.
If u try to type root for the Password, nothing will happen so make sure u hit the Return key first, then add 'root' then hit return again and add "alpine' then hit retun one more time then add,
chown mobile /var/mobile/Library/Cookies/
chown mobile /var/mobile/Library/Cookies/Cookies.plist
