I currently have the Touch. I like the phone, but it is more than I need and I don't really enjoy paying for the data plan every month. I'm looking at the Glimmer as a possible replacement. I have an 8gb card with my Touch, not sure if that will work with the Glimmer.

What are everyone's thoughts?

I also have the Touch with Alltel, and I hate paying $90 for the "Smart Plan". There data network is so slow for that much money. I also have the LG Voyager with Verizon and I love this phone! On top of that my bill only cost $ 70 with Unlimited Data/Messaging +500Anytime. I'm only with Alltel because on the My Circle 10 that I get. I also love the touch as I have customized it with the "TouchPal" keyboard and so much more. But $90 before tax and insurance and what not is just too much I think. I really dont want to LG phones (Glimmer and Voyager) becuase there are some things I cant do on the Voyager such as download files off the internet, read and modify Word and Excel documents, read PDF's and a million other things that I can do with my Touch. Plus the "Cube" is the coolest and most convenient feature on the touch. Sad to say, I will probably keep both phones and continue to pay all that money every month.
Oh ya, I also have GPS on my Voyager, which is free and very cool.
On to my last word. I have also been thinking of just switching to Sprint and getting the Touch with them. They have an "Unlimited Everything" plan for$99 a month. Plus they have a very fast Data Network, but not sure how there phone service is.
