Hey, been a long time since i posted ( not that i posted much ). I was switching my housing from my k790 from brown to black. When i did this, i didnt notice that the black housing didnt have any of that metal mesh stuff infront of the speaker and the 2 top buttons. Right now, im fine without them but i was wondering how can i take them off of my brown housing? they are kinda in the faceplate itself. Thanks guys

EDIT: i think you can just use the mesh part from your original brown fascia

i dont think you really want it, its really worn and its got some scratches and stuff. The paint is chipping off the sliding part.... etc. I'm not sure how to take out the mesh from the housing though. ITs like inside the housing or something.

you have to tear into to old faceplate and seperate the top from the sides...it will pretty much ruin the old one.

There are 6 'hooks' on the side of the front cover, they are plastic, take a small flathead screw driver and unhook these to get the front cover off... then you can take the mesh
