Removing Java restrictions from Nokia 6126

I have an unlocked Nokia 6126 and am having issues with the java restrictions. The program I am trying to use is KD Player. When I attempt to navigate to my music folder in the newest version (0.8.9) I get the following message: "Application access set to not allowed". When I look in the Application access options for KD Player all options under Data Access are grayed out. I really want to be able to utilize a better mp3 player on my phone and cannot get the software to communicate with the hardware, Please Help!!!
