Yea, I'm new to cellphones somewhat when it comes to having options as in games, ringtones, apps and ect. I was living on my own using a basic text, call phone.

Basically im looking for basic tips on how to create your own ringtones/tunes. Find games, themes, wallpaper and apps.

I am going to be looking throughout the board for this, but just making this topic and bookmarking it for a quick reference.

Thanks
George.

Well gaming is fine with me. I managed to find games, but what I've been trying to do is make ringtones.

I've tried the sony drm program and miksoft program and upload them to a website and download from a wap, but my phone isn't letting me use them.

As far as wallpapers, themes I've realized there easy as well. Can't you just xfer a jpeg onto your phone into the folder whether it be on the memory stick/on phone memory and then go onto the phone and set it?

Is your phone branded or unbranded by a carrier? If unbranded, you don't need the DRM packager. Also yes you can go through your phone and set as wallpaper any photo or wallpaper you have. Go under the settings, then display, to do so.

Well thankfully after an hour of trying stuff I managed to figure out an easy way to do it. I searched posts and found that there was a more step by step process and all I wasn't doing was using sony file manager suite to transfer the files rather than uploading them to a mobile wap site and d/ling them from my phone.

Also I suppose being my phone stores jpegs I could easily copy/paste them from the root picture folder on the phone onto the pc and upload via facebook eh :P

Thanks again and sorry for newb topic, but hey we gotta start somewheres.
