Longrun L831 Mass Storage

I am having problems getting my mass storage option to work when I connect the phone to my computer through the USB port. I select mass storage, and it keeps coming up with the error "USB: No storage for PC." Does anyone know how to get the mass storage to work? I would like to start putting music and pictures on my phone. Thank you.
