Open SSH error... used to work, now won't???

hello all.. the title says it all.. i have a ziphone JB 1.1.4 . i have successfully used SSH after my new JB, now all of a sudden, i can't get SSH to open. i have tried winscp on 3 different computers and get the same error: "network error. connection refused"

has anyone had this problem? has this been posted before? if so, can someone guide me to the fix...

i had this problem with my 1.1.4 iPlus...it happened after i installed Customize....i think when i did so it messed up my "Preferences" Folder and after that it was not letting me login or anything.....

The only way for me to fix it was to do a DFU restore to 1.1.4, and then run iPlus again and start all over.....it worked after this. its annoying since u hafta re-install all ur apps, etc... but its the only way i managed to resolve the problem.

when i JB with ziphone, i did a dfu restore.. i can get ssh to open, but rarely.. so i don't think it's the dfu restore that's going to correct..

I dfu restored two iPhones to 1.1.4. Then I installed openSSH. I tried to use winscp and it would not connect. So I installed BossPrefs so I can turn on and off SSH. After I did that it worked perfectly. Make sure wifi is on. Make sure you have the right ip address. The login is root and password is alpine. I hope this helps.

ok,, i have both services and boss prefs installed, and for some reason when i try to open ssh with services, i get that error,, but when i open ssh with boss prefs it opens like a charm. so i have just uninstalled services and will use boss prefs to use those features.. strange!!
