How can I fake activate without jailbreaking

Hey guys,
I need to return my refurbished iPhone due to bubbles under the screen. I restored it to the firmware it came with (1.0.2) but I cant find any program that will just fake activate. I need it activated because it came activated and playing with it is when I noticed the bubbles, any ideas?

If it's 1.0.2, you should be able to use wiNstaller to do what you need. (PC), or independance (MAC)
