HTC Wing/touch problem!

Hey I was just wondering if anyone knows any program that can help with the power management? My phone's battery life is short. please help

There are a bunch of reg edits you can do for the touch. I have done them and they seem to make a difference. I know it's not a program but it can help.

ohh what's the edit? i heard alot about reg edits but idk exactly what they are. Are they system files you edit in text?

They are registry files that you edit with a reg editor such as PHM or Resco reg editor. Basically what it is doing is changing the way you phone handles power in certain situations. Here is a link to the regedits post #29 and these are cdma touch specific I believe. I have done these and there seems to be a noticeable difference in battery life for me as well as others. Enjoy.

ohh sounds good...i downloaded phm but i don't know what to do next...should i install all the cab files to the phone? it's the desktop version

try turning your bluetooth off if you aren't using it. I heard that helps save battery life. Also you can turn off all your program updating . ie email and text. that one is a personal preference. I also turned off all my notifications except for the phone. between that and the reg edits, at least it seems like my battery is better. I think I am still going to get the seido 2000 mah batter for 49.00. People claim, with the extra girth, it fits better in their hands.
