Problems with HTC S630 Cavalier/BB Connect

Hello
I have recently purchased the HTC S630 (Cavalier).

Question: is there no way to highlight and cut/paste information in the contacts feature of the S630 (e.g., if I would like to move a phone number from "work" to "mobile")?!

Problems: I have installed Blackberry Connect 4.0.0.91 and am able to synchronize with my server at work, but there are a few serious bugs:
(i) When writing a new e-mail or responding to an e-mail, the cursor disappears (so I am basically guessing where I am);
(ii) I can only write the text and subject line in all caps (the address line is fine);
(iii) I can only see the first few lines of what I write, but not the rest (it is entered into the message, but I cannot scroll down to see it), and if I try to scroll too much the thing just gets stuck and keeps beeping.

I am thinking that perhaps these are a result of the fact that my device is configured for Hebrew as well, and the two languages may not mix well.
