Im still getting no service on my iphone????? Have anyone been able to get signal back?????? How??????
Posted by: cingular#1
does it actually say No Service or are you not pulling in signal

Not sure why you didn't just reply to one of your other 2 threads on the exact same issue. It's hard for us to help you when we have to go back and forth between 3 different threads to find out what you did wrong.
Are you sure you used it correctly? Tell us exactly what you did... from the beginning. What caused this issue and what have you done to try and resolve it?

My iphone is a refurb from ATT. It came with 1.1.1. I restore it to 1.1.4. Later I used ziphone 2.6b to unlock it. Everything works on it but the phone. The wifi, you tube, installer but I get no service instead if the signal bars and the ATT logo on the left top. Now I used Iliberty + and still said no service.

i had the same problem as you did tony. All I did was click the refurbish button in ziphone and when it went into DFU mode, I restored my phone using 1.1.4 FW that I downloaded. Then ziphone'd again using do it all.

Which ziphone did you used????
I try that and did not work for me, but will try it again.....
Thanks

ziphone 2.6b or whatever the latest version was. If it matters, I did it in windows

ziphone 2.6b had an issue with the no signal issue. From what I've read...if you restore and do it again with the later version...it works fine as long as u hit do it all.
When you did it with iliberity...did you make sure you restored it again to 1.1.4?
Posted by: tony_2271
Yes, I did restore to 1.1.4 and later used Iliberty +. I did it like three times and always no service. I selected on the second tap to correct the wifi, no signal issue and still did not solve my no service issue.......

try the newest version of ziphone
Posted by: j4y_7
First do a DFU restore to 1.1.4
Next, using iLiberty+ I would try the following options:
- Erase Baseband
- Fix for No Signal, No Wifi, No Bluetooth
- Reflash baseband to version 04.04.05_G
Posted by: Jovian
so with iliberty anyone who has ever downgraded their baseband can upgrade it back up?
Lot's of people may have there warranty back.
Posted by: j4y_7
I think you're confusing baseband with bootloader. Downgrading & upgrading basebands has never really been an issue.
w/ iLiberty+ you can upgrade your bootloader back to 4.6 if you've previously downgraded to 3.9FB.
Posted by: Jovian
yeah thats what i meant....so yeah if u can go back to 4.6...apple can never really tell uve done anything to the phone after a restore
Posted by: tony_2271
How do i reflash the bootload with Iliberty +?????
Posted by: j4y_7
The problem is that so many people used Ziphone, which downgraded their phones to 3.9 and not 3.9FB, so they won't be able to go back to 4.6 (at least not w/ software solution).

How do I Reflash baseband to version 04.04.05_G with Iliberty +?????
Posted by: j4y_7
Everytime someone starts to help you, you go and start a new thread for the next step or each time you run into a problem, making it impossible to help you without looking through 5-6 different threads.
From your 10 threads, pick one that you plan on sticking with and post your question there.

lolllll j4y 7 is right. Thats why when I search I see a million threads with nothing answered.
