MM_7500 driver/getting pics off?

I did a search, but could not find the answer/link. I'm about to upgrade from my MM-7500, but I want to pull the pics before I do so. I've tried bitpim (detects my phone, but won't pull the pics) and the connection manager from sprint. Am I missing something here? I looked at the old threads on this issue, but could not find any new posts.
