I thought I might do a Picture comparison of a t92 & a 920sh.

Sorry about the image quality i know it aint the best.

But anyways they both look exaclty the same i really cant spot any difffss.

The WX-T92 seems to have a plastic casing with a glossy finish.

I wonder if a housing swap is out of the question for these models... if not for aesthetic reasons then to have a full set of letters on the keypad (I guess that the logic is since most people buying the WX-T92 will be typing in Traditional Chinese there's no need for full Roman lettering...?).

Bah, majority of phones are made of cheap plastic anyway =P

Exceptions would be Nokia 8800, 8860, and the newer Arte.

Im wondering if there is some way to use this firmware and put it on a 920sh? I would like to unlock my phone but it seems it needs to register with softbanks system. I wonder if someone could register the phone with the system there then be able to put any other sim card in there and have it work. Maybe its just a first time thing like the iphone.

In the 920 Owners' Thread. I don't think cross-flashing is being worked on yet as, you know, the phones aren't out yet lol

Will go for the HK version since the sample was in black...
but I dont mind getting this one as long as its chaper than HK ver.
as long as its got no locks like 920sh... I wont complain

I believe someone (on one of the CHinese forums I go to sometimes) with access to both the WX-T92 and the 920SH and SETool (or something like that) have tried and they can't be cross-flashed.

Well, the hardware is different, there's a TV tuner module and FeliCa chip missing, so that wouldn't help...

Then again, I'm sure someone in the future will hack it badly enough to make it possible. They did it with the 703SH and 703SHf...

It maybe improbable but anything`s possible. The 904sh looked bleak and now everyone can enjoy it and more.

Yeah, but that's a totally different story than cross flashing or software unlocking.
