HTC 6800 Password lock?

How do i make it so that when I click the "device unlocked" icon to lock it, it will ask for a password after you press unlock?
I'm trying to keep others from using it
I tried the key lock option but that only locks the phone from doing some things, I want to lock it so that it cannot go back to the today screen without the password

go to settings >personal> and lock icon... there u will be able to set your device to be locked and you can't unlock it without entering a password
