i currently have a v3i. i like my phone but it's time to move on.

however, i don't know where to go because i'm demanding on my phones.

it has to have:

-HUGE text capacity (pitfall of the v3i, unless someone knows a hack for more than 100 messages)
-MMS, video recording/sending
-music player
-camera
-email capable
-uncrippled bluetooth to transfer files/sounds
-3g
-quad band/world phone
-ATT compatible
-expandable memory
-i prefer slider/flip phones

essentially all the bells and whistles.

a bonus would be an easy way to back up texts/notes onto an Apple computer.

i'm completely at a loss as to where to start so any help would be muy helpful!

thanks!

All of the Nseries phones don't have a capacity for text messages. The only limit is the internal memory of the phone, which is exponentially more than enough for keeping tons of text messages. I've kept upwards of 3000 on the phone at one time.

Unfortunately, there are only a handful of Nseries devices compatible with AT&T's 3G, which are the N95-3, N95-4, N75, and depending on your area, the 6120 classic and the E51.

anyone? please?

I gave you a place to start. Go research the N95's. Either one does everything on your list.

so, i took your advice and perused the Nokia collection.

i like the E65.

will this E-series work with ATT and am i correct in thinking it's the Symbian OS that allows for greater text capacities? so perhaps another Symbian phone might work if this one will not?

thanks in advance! =)

E series does not work with 3G in the US. Also look at the Sony Ericsson cybershot lines.

If you want to win the text game, go for a Tilt or a Qwerty input of some kind.

But honestly, I know you're coming from a 100 SMS max phone, and you think you're the text-master-champion-of-the-world but once you break the boundaries you may find the space a little bit empty.

Better research other features and make sure there's a place to go after the problem is solved.
