Hey guys i am looking for a blackberry like device that works over just wifi? I can't spend the money monthly and i am also in a contract with my current phone. I have wifi in my whole building that i work at so thats not a problem but i am looking mainly for the e-mail ability that pushes right to the phone and not having to check it every 5 mins. So is there something out there like this? Also having a full qwerty keyboard like a blackberry curve is a must.

There are Windows devices that will "pull" your mail but I am not so sure with just a WiFi signal.

What you want is what is so great about Blackberry services!

The only thing that comes close to what you're describing is a laptop. There are no blackberry like devices or devices in general that does push email over wifi.

The closest thing I found is GSM technology. Here's the link to take a look.

Wirelessly posted (NakedBerry: BlackBerry7520/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103)

Wasn't there a Wifi only Blackberry a few years ago? An 8707 or 8770 something like that.

Yes there was a device from RIM made to work within an office enviroment. I do not think it will serve this purpose.

Any Nokia phone with Wifi/ WM phone with Wifi can do Push-email via SEVEN email

It's not as efficient as BB/BB-connect but it's the closest thing you can get.

The BlackBerry 7270 was a WiFi only device. As mentioned, it was only for work (campus) environments. It was available only from RIM and not from a carrier.
