Need some help with Movistar N81 (8GB)

My cousin bought this phone in venezuela and sent it to me here in Utah, i'm trying to use Tmobile with it... But how do I get the unlock code? I've tried putting the Tmobile sim card & it just says Invalid Sim card and doesnt have an option to insert an unlock code... help?
