Pearl 8130 Suretype question

apparently, I use the word "not" frequently. however, my pearl always defaults to "boy", when using suretype.

is there a way to change the priority list or will i always have to scroll down to "not"?

there are other words, but this is the biggest PITA!

That's strange. It usually learns your preferences after a while. Maybe you shouldn't be so negative.

if I use the same letter combination with the same word twice in a row, it'll default to the one I used for all future times. it even says that in the bb tutorial.

thats weird, my 8110 doesn't remember squat I keep getting SHUT instead of SH_T (i) and DUCK instead of well you know, I typed _UCK a hole bunch of times in a row and it will remember it for that specific message but not for the following one, it will go back to DUCK

Ha! I have the same thing happen. I even added all the "french" words to the custom dictionary. Still DUCK and SHUT.

I'm pretty sure it does that because they're 'curse words'

imagine being at work with someone watching what you type, or something to that nature and the one time you don't want to use that word. . . .

lol its not that smart

I realized what it is
you are entering the words in fine, then they show up right, however you arent officially adding them to the dictionary. do a spell check when it highlights the word SH_T blackberry button it, add to custom dic, then it will start showing up normally, just got it to work, very nice high five

just keep typing "not" 10x in a roll
than "not" will be piroitized instead of "boy"

same with ducking and shuting, so it wont be ducking shuthead XD
