Anybody know how to shut off auto-correct?
its really irritating when I type HR and its corrected to Hour, ID and its corrected to I'd, etc

Locate options icon, locate autotext. There should be a whole list in there, basically you can add and delete what you want. In your case find the ones that are auto correcting you and delete them
