Ok so I just got a new blackjack 2 and I wanted to know what are the first things that I should do? I would like my phone to be unlocked and be able to use GPS and tether (I have a data plan). What would you recommend I do first? Download first? Read first? Any good blackjack sites? Thanks!

SIGHHHHHH...is there anything slightly more organized than that thread? I've been on there for hours and I have a headache right now. Most of the thread is random hacks and things for the blackjack. I'm looking for more specific things. When I got my HTC 8525 there was a thread that had recommended apps for the 8525. I don't seem to see that in the tips/tricks/hacks thread. Also, I don't know where to begin in that thread if I have a BJ2 instead.

I guess what I'm looking for is a list of recommended apps or some sites with good BJ2 freeware. I've used the 'search this thread' function and I still can't find anything in there. I guess it's because I don't really know what I need.

Pls help.

Finding apps for the Blackjack 2 is going to be different from the HTC. The biggest being the Blackjack 2 is a non-touch screen device so you need to find Windows Mobile Standard (or formerly known as Windows Mobile Smartphone) specific applications. The HTC runs Windows Mobile Professional (or formerly known as Windows Pocket PC) since it is a touchscreen device.

Check in the Windows Mobile Standard forum for more answers.

most of the apps that you had on your duo work on your blackjack. if you asked me i would say omap over clock , facade, some type of gps like route 66 or tomtom. tcmp with the flashbundle cab and say pocketcaster as some tweaks i did is disable the ringtone size limt, turn off the camera sound,

I found this thread to be very helpful for me when I got my Blackjack II. It is the most organized I have seen to date with stuff from MoDaCo and Howardforums all in one thread. http://www.modaco.com/content/Samsu...Thread-of-Tips/
