Problem w/ Browser on 8310

I am looking for a little help. I just switched from my 8300 to an 8310 and am having trouble getting the browser to work correctly on the 8310. Basically the Media Net Icon and the BB Browser are doing the same thing. What are the settings for the browser that are under the browser setting in advanced options. Keep in mind this is with at&t.

I used BB Desktop Manager to load my settings onto the new phone and set up my BES service. BES is working fine, but I have the above mentioned problem. Obviously, I did not have this problem with my 8300. I did at one time have an 8130 for a trial on the Desktop Manager.

As a second problem I cannot get Google Maps to load after download. I am hoping fixing the above issue can correct this, but if anyone knows a known problem please let me know.

i didn't know that media net and the normal browser are supposed to act different?

Last i checked, media net was just an icon to get you to media net using the defaul browser. What's the difference that you're looking for?

google maps - options > advanced options > tcp - enter in correct APN settings.
try google maps now.

Thanks for the response. On my 8300 I had one icon that would open Media Net and another that would open the BB browser and could set a different home page. They acted the same, meaning I could be on a Media Net page, open my bookmarks, and go to a webpage. I guess I just like the idea of having the option to have the ability to open each browser separately.

Anybody have any ideas on this or at least know what I am talking about. Also my settings under browser are as followed: Default Browser Config: Blackberry Browser; Default MDS Browser Config: Blackberry Browser; and Default WAP Browser Config: Media Net.
