How do I get rid of the "Download GPS Nav", "Google Talk" and "Yahoo! Messenger" icons. I have no use for them and cant find any way to remove them

sorry if this is a stupid question but im a complete newb to berrys. thanks for your help

You can hide them... Hit the menu key over the icon and click "Hide"

id rather delete them and free up the memory instead...there must be a way to get rid of them

You can try going to Options > Advanced > Applications then the menu button to delete those apps.
