my daughter dunked mine in the toilet. I have been living okay without it thus far but I have been wondering the same thing. I will probably have to buy another one.

ummmmm telling us whats wrong with the phone would help.

Back like two years ago, my iPod headphones stopped working and it was within the 1 year warranty. I called them and they just shipped me a new pair, didn't even ask for the old pair back. I would give them a call and see what they say.

No no...

nothing is wrong with the OP's Handset, it is the Headset that is garbage... My headset did not last more than a week. If you go to an apple store they will just give you a new one, and throw your old ones in the garbage, they know that those things are worth $0.75 in materials...

yea $29.99, good luck getting that from me...

Just go to an Apple store with your old set and they will replace them if they have stock (the usually do) Make sure you get the iPhone one with the mic/button

Better yet go to http://www.v-moda.com/ and buy a set of Vibe Duos, my fav for the iPhone!

Hmm, maybe I will try that myself. I would think they would tell you to go to a local store though.

AT&T won't do anything but tell you this: call Apple Care or go to an Apple Store.

Wait, are we talking about the bluetooth headset or the headphones/microphone that come with the iPhone?

My girlfriend had her headphones wires kinda get exposed near the microphone. We went to an Apple store and the guy there said he wouldn't replace it. According to him they normally get a pair from an open box, and they didn't have any.

Then we went to another Apple store and they immediately just took a brand new package from off the shelf, opened it and gave it to her for free. This new pair even came with a one year warranty!

So I guess it depends on who you talk to.

I just had mine replaced at the Apple Store with no problems. Just make sure you go on the Apple site first and make an appointment.

The adhesive that sticks the meshy cover to the earbud had worn away I guess, and it fell off and now the right side doesn't work. The only problem is the nearest apple store is 3 hours away from me. Could I call Apple and have them ship me a new pair? They are covered under the warranty correct?
