W810 command error when changing profiles

I have an unlocked unbranded W810 that normally resides on Fido bt currently has a Cingular SIM since I'm travelling. I use MyPhoneExplorer to sync with my PC. For the last few hours whenever I try to change the profile usng the power button on the top of th phone i get the scrolling bar followed by "command error". It sometimes happens if i go through the menu to change the profile. Has this happened to anyone else?

Iv never seen it b4.. have you modded it at all? like erased profiles in the FS?
