Video + subtitles on 904sh

Hi everyone,
Do you know more about adding subtitles on videos for 904sh? I mean, take a video file and convert it to 3GP, but how do you add subtitles to it? I have a few videos that have been subtitled, but don't know how they did this.
Can subtitles be imported into the phone and played together with the video? I know I can make my own subtitles on the phone, although I haven't tried that yet, but can I take a video file and a subtitles file and put them on the phone directly and maybe join them there?

As far as I know thats quite impossible. I doubt the 904sh would be able to read the subtitle file. You'll need to hard sub the video meaning you need to add the subtitles into the video itself so that it is just only one file, instead of the video + srt sub file. Programs that can do that are namely Virtual Dub (mod) or other things you can find on google.

I guess you're right - it won't read subtitles. But the phone's option for entering subtitles - just tried it, and "subtitles" under OPTIONS->EDIT is not active, just the CROP function is. I have just read the instructions in the manual, but they don't say why it may not active.
I tried converting an AVI with its subtitles to 3GP - conversion of the film worked out perfectly - 640x480 screen at 25fps and total of 180 MB - great picture, but the subtitles weren't properly decoded and all that appeared was empty lines (the subs are in Bulgarian, that is, Cyrillic letters - in Media Coder there is an encoding selector, I select Russian, it should work, but nothing...). Meanwhile I have seen other films with their subtitles properly encoded for 3GP so I guess it is a matter of finding the right tool. I have Virtual Dub and will test it later.
Meanwhile, if anyone discovers more about adding subtitles directly from the phone, please share!

Here are two videos for you all to enjoy (I will keep them on my server for a few days):
