hey guys, I have a BB 8320 and tried to pair it to my bluetooth hs-850 today but it didn't work. I went on the phone under set up bluetooth and scanned for devices with my hs-850 turned on and the bb didn't detect any devices. Am i doing something wrong?

You had the HS-850 in pairing mode, right? Check your (headset) manual on how to do this, it's very easy but your phone won't recognize it unless it is in this mode initially..........

lol, i dont have the manual anymore. All i did was i opened the flip on the headset. Im guessing thats not good enough?

Funny you mention this, I bought a refurb'd HS850 today & the manual states:
To put the headset in pairing mode:
1. Ensure the headset is turned off (indicator light NOT blinking and boom is closed)
2. Press an hold the Call button. after about 4 or 5 seconds the indicator light becomes steadily lit.
3. Release the call button and immediately open the headset boom (do this as fast as you can, I didn't do it fast enough & had to do it all over agagin), the indicator light remains steadily lit.

If the indicator light is flashing or not steadily lit when opening the headset boom, repeat steps 1 through 3.
Your headset should now appear on your phone, select "Motorola HS850"
Select OK or YES to pair it.
Enter the passkey: 0000 (four zeros)
Select OK.

That should do it.
