Sidekick Slide Or Lx

Im Going To Renew My Contract With Tmobile And Im Not Sure If U Should Get The Slide Or Lx. The Specs Show That There Almost The Same But I Know There Not. Any Suggestions?

The only main differences between the two are:
-Screen size (LX is massive)
-Slide camera has no flash, LX does. (Some people say the LX takes better pictures than the Slide, but they are both 1.3 megapixel cameras)
-Speaker placement- On the Slide, speaker is on the face, on the LX, speaker is on the D-pad.
-Keyboard-Slide's is MUCH smaller. No go for big hands.
-Phone size. The Slide is small, very compact; the LX is not.

I would say your best bet is to hit a T-Mo stand or store and hold and flip them both so you can get a feel for it.

People say the LX pictures look better because the LX's screen resolution makes the picture view nicer on the phone. Exporting pics from a Slide or LX will show the same quality.

Better to get the LX if you have used a sidekick before. Sliding it up just isn't the same as Twisting it around. Would choose the LX hands down. In fact I'll bet getting one soon, The slides are tempting because they are soo much cheaper on ebay than the LX.

The Slide is not made by the same company as the Sidekicks. Motorola has made the Slide to try and keep up with the increase demand of phones with actual key pads.

Slide: The screen freezes, the battery does not hold a charge, and randomly beeps in the middle of the night waking you up and pissing you off. The screen wiggles after using it for about two weeks, the wheel moves but not on the screen, and the keys don't always work.

I had the Slide for about two weeks, and the whole time hated the damn thing. I went with the ID just because I'm short on cash right now.

The ID or LX is the better way to go.
