anyone notice a HUGE increase in chargebacks?
Mine were showing an amount for 30 days and then yesterday, jumped 600 dollars. any idea why they do this to us?

Yep, I noticed it, too. Happened to everyone in my store; jumped up $600.

Ditto here-my chargebacks were about $187, and suddenly jumped to $687. The same for everyone else in our store.

I think it has to do with the new comp plan, in effect today.

Did anyone notice the DSR did NOT update as of this writing (read: all day today)?

mine went from around $300 to over $600.

on a side note did everyone see that starting today we will not be getting charged back for anything before April 1st? it was posted in our Georgia Daily Post

Since that's the case (and you are correct, by the way), why then did it change before the month of March ended, making our commission check next month MUCH smaller than it would normally be?

The whole concept of no chargebacks starting today had to do with features that are on an account for 6 months or less. So since that's what we've all been told, why did the amount for March suddenly change at the end of month, right before the no chargeback thing goes into play?

To me, March would be 6 months or less, unless my calendar is WAY off.

I heard my assistant mgr mention something about how they miscalculated feature payout or something, and that's the reason for the major adjustment. But of course, it's all hearsay, and there's never anything that gets forwarded to reps, just what mgmt tells us. And we only get tidbits, not the whole story.

So what's the real deal? Anybody else know what's really going on, and can shed some light on this? I'm not being sarcastic.

i dont know what the deal is, but as i was going through mine out of my $600 almost $300 were family text plans that had been taken off by customer service and put back on without my codes...the one upside to the new comp plan

That is an upside (the new plan).

But why do reps have to get hit for chargebacks from CS right before this change goes into effect? That's all I'm saying. I know it's always been this way, but how did they suddenly decide to increase the negative total right before the change? Something doesn't "add up".

well i'll get this money back, all you have to do is submit the reconcile form. i know it's more than we should have to do to get paid, but it's not like i completely lost this commission

Where is the reconcile form? I usually just send my reconciliations for adds, opps, or features to my ARSM, and she comes through for me.

And thanks in advance for the feedback.

ha, i WISH my arsm was cool like that...heck, my manager isn't even that cool. until recently i had an asm that would do it for me, but he took an sm job...so i'm back to having to do it myself.

The chargebacks are a result of a mis-calculation on around 20 different feature codes. I kinda figured it was going to happen because i saw that i was not getting hit on media plans, which when mycomp caught up, caused my cb's to skyrocket for my store.

Posted by: dalynqwent

Yeah lol, my feature charge backs were at 300... checked them when MyComp updated on monday, shiznit jumped up to 775, WTF!?

Posted by: Compy

Gotta love it. Mine are right at 775 too.

Posted by: JustJoe

Mine are fine. Same $50 that has been there all month. I did hit 150% attainment level...
