8820 and media net

Does the 8820 require a blackberry package or can I just hop on media net with it, I probally do less than 1 meg per month just a fast weather check every now and then so I was curious. Thanks for any help.

you can use PPU but not a media net plan. PPU media net is .01 cents per Kb. If your BB isn't registered to your account then you may add a media net package but if its registered then the system won't allow an incorrect package to be added.
