I'm sorry if this has been posted before i searched the forums and couldn't find anything.

I have a V3C from Telus. Lately the batter has been dying in about 2 hours after being charged for 10 hours.
I don't do anything - maybe send a text and then my phone has the "low battery" This only happens at work though ( i work in a hospital and the hospital has poor reception )
A friend told me to tell my phone to stop "searching". But i Don't know how to do this?
Someone else suggested Airplane mode..
Or maybe because the phone is 2 years old it may just need a new battery.. But i'd be upset if i bought a new 50$ battery only to find out it dies too because it spends my whole shift searching for a signal.
